No. Starter recipes use Shopify Flow, which is free and already included on Shopify Basic. You follow a checklist and paste in the settings we give you. Shopify's Sidekick assistant can even build parts of it for you from plain English.
Only public data: your product catalog, stock status, product page content, and the apps visible on your storefront. We never ask for your Shopify login.
Not by default. Every customer-facing recipe works in draft mode, so you approve before anything is sent. Starter recipes can never change your prices or inventory.
